Apple’s iPhone 7: The Countdown Has Begun

Are you ready for the next Apple event? You should be because it is just 3 days away from now. Apple announced an invitation-only event to take place in San Francisco on September 7th, 6:00 PM UK Time. We will be witnessing the next generation of the iPhone along with a new Apple Watch. It is still unclear if they will name it the iPhone 7 or 6se but for argument’s sake, let’s call it iPhone 7. There are a lot of upgrades that analysts expect to see in the upcoming device.

First of all, it is believed that the iPhone will be coming in two sizes. One will come with a 4.7 inch screen and the other with a 5.5 inch screen. There is a consensus in regards to the camera being upgraded as well. Interestingly, it is believed that the home button will be re-introduced as pressure-sensitive. What we may see is a 50% boost to the processing power of the iPhone which is the most exciting thing about it. This may be a faster version of the A10 chip. Color-wise, rumor has it that there may be a new color coming, the glossy black version.

A dominant rumor has it that the 3.5mm headphone jack will be removed from the the next iPhone. If that is the case, then Apple will introduce wireless ”Airpods” that come along with your new iPhone. The new iPhone is expected to go on sale on September 23rd as leaked by the US Phone Carrier AT&T.
